Hankyu is a well-known and established brand for department stores in Japan. Hankyu has large department stores in Osaka, Tokyo, Kobe and Fukuoka. In 2023, we will arrange a ‘Scandinavian Fair’ with Hankyu where you have the opportunity to market your products in two ways.

Pop-up at the Hankyu Scandinavian fair
At the famous Hankyu Umeda Department Store in central Osaka, we will have an event space called the ‘Scandinavian Fair’, where Danish brands will be displayed. In Japan, there’s an increasing interest in the Scandinavian way of life. You have the opportunity to participate with a pop-up store and be promoted directly to the Japanese market.

Fashion, Home items (e.g. Tableware) and Food (e.g. sweets ) brands are highly welcomed in this event. You can do test marketing here without worrying about any operational matters as we are going to set up a temporary distributor who could take care of all logistics for you.

Directly connected to the busy Osaka-Umeda Station, Hankyu Umeda Department Store is a landmark department store in Osaka’s Kita/Umeda area. Spanning 2 floors underground and 13 above, Hankyu Umeda boasts world-renowned luxury fashion brands and one of Japan’s largest beauty and cosmetic department as well as four food and restaurant floors.

The store is loved by locals throughout the Kansai region and have approx. 50 million visitors annually. We will have a total exhibition space of 1294 m2 and expects the event to attract around 20,000 visitors.
